Eenadu Article about Jagan

The main article in Eenadu today (6th May) is about the atrocities / irregularities of Mr Jagan and his followers with a title "Kanda (muscle).. Kasu (money).. Khakhi (police)" indicating that they are using all possible means to get elected and Jagan followers have distributed money to the voters twice already and are going to distribute once again. Also the police are implicitly helping him by not checking the vehicles of Jagan's group and even turning blind eye to the manhandling / atrocities of his group.

As an outsider, I understand the following from various news sources

- Jagan is not a member of ruling party now. In fact he came out of the party after fighting with the top leadership. The Congress party has put a sitting minister against him and his own uncle against his mother. All the ministers of the government are camping in Kadapa and Pulivendula canvassing agaist them. Mr Chiranjeevi and Chief Minister have also canvassed vigorously against him. Mr Chandrababu Naidu and his patry are also canvassing against him very vigorously. Several companies of central reserve police were moved there and some more coming today.

In these circumstances, how

- An individual though he is the ex-chiefminister son can exercise his power with Khakhi particularly when the central paramilitary forces are deployed. Does it mean that the ruling party is in cahoots with him though they are opposing him for visibility sake?
- Coming to money, it became common in India nowadays to distribute money by all parties which is a disgusting practice. In Kadapa also all the parties are doing the same. Jagan for his survival and others for their defeat. So this cannot be a bigger factor as the ruling party will have higher amount of resources and motivation to defeat him. If not the same question will again come up as to whether they are opposing for opposing sake.
- Coming to muscle power, his uncle and the minister contesting in Kadapa are also equally powerful in that area so this also will be countered by them (again this is a common disgusting feature in India now).

It is a known fact that Eenadu is against Rajasekhara Reddy and his family particularly Jagan. Atleast they should use common sense in writing this kind of articles. In fact they are making him a bigger leader than he is. The parties should have ignored him when he resigned from Congress so that he could have faded away like Chiranjeevi's PRP.
